| Who's up for a debate about music on youtube?
Is it wrong and costing artists money, or is it completely okay?
I feel it's ok. Music is FREE on the radio after all, or even on the internet radio. So I can't see why music videos etc on youtube would be any different. _________________ f( ;.;)f

| Could someone explain to me why some videos on Youtube have the Itunes link under them to the song in it? I don't understand how it gets there but I would assume it would actually boost sales of songs. In that case I don't have any problem with it and see it as ok |

It's a semi-new addition, not all videos have it. I'm guessing it was introduced in March.
Anyway, if someone genuinely likes a song, they will buy it in physical form, just so they can support that artist and help them make more songs. |

I think it's more that fact that music can easily be ripped off Youtube videos. Mind you, this can also be done with radio broadcasts. That, and YouTube allows users to access the music on demand, unlike radio stations. |

| Pfft, who cares if music can easily be ripped off Youtube videos, they can be just as easily torrented. But then, we pay for our music, right? So who cares what the industry thinks. I buy my CDs, I couldn't care less if the music industry wants to pretend everyone is a criminal, but atleast they're not as bad as the games industry. |

| Music labels have videos of bands they push all over Youtube. Can't be hurting sales too much then. Won't be surprised if it actually increased sales. The evermore increasing 'Clueless' PC user can't or don't know how to nick music from the net and will either: Throw money at a purchase link provided (EG. iTunes) or just watch that video on the page over and over again. |

| iTunes would have better quality sound I would be led to believe.
Having half of my music ripped off my music clips I find it annoying, though can understand the reasoning for it.
Still, I am all for Youtube having music, Ihave playlists etc and is way easier to database music I don't have and cannot find lol. |

| I don't think it's too much of an issue. You need to consider, how many people know how to use a Torrent, and how many are willing to replay songs over and over again? |
