That sounds like a good idea. However will it actually create worth while forum content?

I'm guessing it will encourage people to use the forums, and that but the time someone hits 250 posts there will be enough established members to keep the forum running.

I was thinking about your dilemma last night while I was in bed Ocelot. I think you should hold off giving the games away until you recruit a larger membership base. Maybe you could make a Steam group, then go into some games and announce what you're doing with the free games. Could attract some 10 year olds, and they might attract all their friends though..

i'll give the game away, even if GT remains a small community overtime pcpp'ers might here about it, check in and be all like

Why has PCPP never had anything like this is beyond me, there is a hardcore lunatic fringe of members there and this would be very popular, that and quite a few new members so it would not be hard to do
